Privacy Policy

The controller is AK SELECTED d.o.o., Našička 14A, 10000 Zagreb, OIB 10222905897 · akselected@gmail.com · +385 95 805 6791. Branch and vehicle pick-up location: Radnička cesta 184, 10000 Zagreb. For any data protection question or to exercise your rights, write to akselected@gmail.com. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

The site has an enquiry form for van rental and an enquiry form for the Audi Q7. Required fields are your name, phone number and preferred rental dates; for vans you also choose the vehicle. In the Audi Q7 form, e-mail address and note are optional.

When you click the send button, the data you entered is saved in our enquiry database (provider: Lovable Cloud) and WhatsApp opens with a prepared message. You send the WhatsApp message yourself; once sent, WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) processes it under its own privacy policy.

The purpose is to reply to your enquiry, check availability and prepare a rental offer. Where an individual requests an offer in their own name, the legal basis is steps taken at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where you send an enquiry on behalf of a company or business, we process your contact details on the basis of our legitimate interest in communicating with a business partner (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Without the required data we cannot reply to your enquiry or prepare an offer. Sending an enquiry is never conditional on marketing consent.

If you use SelectedAI, the messages you type are sent via our server to an artificial intelligence service (Lovable AI, using the Google Gemini model) to generate a reply. We do not store conversations in our database. Please do not enter sensitive personal data into the assistant. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing visitors with quick information (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We use PostHog (EU servers) for visit statistics and to detect technical errors. The site embeds a Google Maps map, which may transfer technical data (e.g. IP address) to Google when it loads. On every visit the server technically processes your IP address and browser data to deliver and secure the site.

Data may only be processed by the service providers we actually use to run the site: Lovable (hosting and enquiry database, Lovable Cloud), Meta/WhatsApp (when you send a message), Google (Gemini for SelectedAI, Google Maps) and PostHog (analytics). We do not sell data. We may disclose data to competent authorities where required by law.

Some of these providers (e.g. Google, Meta) may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer takes place in accordance with Chapter V GDPR, based on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses applied by those providers.

We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to reply to the enquiry and prepare an offer. If we conclude a rental contract, we keep the data for the duration of the contractual relationship and afterwards for as long as required by law (e.g. accounting and tax rules) or as needed to establish or defend legal claims. After that we delete it.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to akselected@gmail.com; we will reply within one month.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Calculator prices are for information only and are calculated in your browser.
